Grape Sorbet

I’ve always had a sweet tooth and can easily down a half-gallon of ice cream in a single sitting. There are better, healthier ways of enjoying a refreshing, cold dessert. One of the easiest desserts to make is frozen grape sorbet.

 

Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Throw grapes into freezer.
  2. Remove grapes from freezer.
  3. Blend.

I have a BlendTec, which is expensive but worth it. (Much as people debate whether blending or juicing is better, people will also debate whether the BlendTec or Vitamix is better. As with both the debates, the answer is the same: You can’t go wrong with either.)

Other blenders will get the job done, though, as it doesn’t take much torque to shred frozen grapes. The Oster served me well for years and a friend speaks highly of the Ninja.
